Business owner turned politician Lemuel P. Twine learns about the dark side of politics during a campaign war with current mayor Moe Carson and local businessman Lester Caldwalader. A few digs about each other's campaigns results in a fistfight at a restaurant between the current mayor and a hopeful candidate. The movie was released in 1942.
